The latest data regarding adults activity levels across the Country have today been released.
Sport England this morning released their latest Active Lives data for adults, covering November 2022 to November 2023.
The proportion of adults moving for at least 30 minutes a week in Greater Manchester is 72.0%, which equates to 1,670,800 adults.
Moving rates have remained stable, with no change, (from 72.0%) but with population growth there are 26,600 more adults moving across the County compared to the previous 12 months.
With regards to locality data, we have received headline figures as follows;
We are awaiting a more detailed breakdown from Sport England and once this has been analysed will share further data on activity levels in Greater Manchester and the 10 localities.
