Today, in partnership with This Girl Can, we are launching a special campaign aimed at addressing and breaking down many of the barriers faced by women and girls and inspiring them to come along to parkrun.

In England we are working with our partners Sport England, supporting the This Girl Can campaign to help address the gender gap seen more widely in sports.
The campaign will show that parkrun is for everyone, no matter your age, background, fitness level or gender. And although #IWDparkrun is being held on one day, it is hoped that the impact will be far more long-lasting!
