Salary: £12.92 per hour

Hours: 39 hours per week

The Role:

In this role of Team Leader/Senior Leisure Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Providing excellent customer service, ensuring all visitors feel welcome and valued.
• Assisting the Duty Manager with daily operations, including opening, closing, and ensuring smooth facility management.
• Managing difficult situations and guiding the team in resolving customer concerns effectively.
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service for all customers.
• Working with your Manager to identify areas for service improvement and sharing ideas to meet customer needs.
• Greeting visitors warmly, responding to inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Supporting sales and retention efforts by engaging with customers, generating leads, and building long-term relationships.
• Ensuring equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use.
• Preparing activity areas and equipment to align with scheduled programmes.
• Providing lifeguard support, maintaining a safe swimming environment for all customers.

What We’re Looking For in the role of Team Leader/Senior Leisure Assistant:

• A RLSS Pool Lifeguard Qualification, or a commitment to obtaining one prior to starting.
• Ideally some form of supervisor or team leader experience.
