We are delighted to continue our exciting recruitment campaign for our multi-million-pound investment for our new Altrincham Leisure Centre. The development of the new centre is well underway, including a state-of-the-art Health and Wellbeing Spa, a 25m swimming pool, 20m learner pool, and a state-of-the-art gym and wellness space. We’re looking for the right individual to help us shape, launch and develop our brand-new purpose-built Gymnastics Hub. So as you can see, exciting times ahead!

The Role

We are looking for an outstanding person to join and lead our gymnastics team, in the role of Gymnastics Programme Manager. Our programme incorporates baby soft play and preschool through to advanced gymnastics so the successful candidate should have experience of all elements of recreational gymnastics.

As Gymnastics Programme Manager you will have a proven track record in the recruitment, training and development of gymnastics instructors. You will be able to motivate team members and colleagues, maintaining agreed standards of product delivery and constantly exceeding customer expectations. You will also be experienced in managing revenue targets.

The Gymnastics Programme Manager will have previous experience of coordinating and delivering a successful gymnastics programme. You must be able to demonstrate effective organisational and communication skills and be able to deal effectively and professionally with customers and colleagues at every level. You must be prepared to drive the business forward. You will be a proactive member of the management team and assist in developing and promoting events and activities to generate revenue and promote retention.

Skills and Qualifications

It is essential that you are qualified as a UKCC Level 2 coach in gymnastics (Men’s Artistic, Women’s Artistic, General Gymnastics or Sports Acrobatics). Level 3 is desirable, however for the right person we will support you in becoming qualified. Successful candidates must have a flexible approach regarding hours worked to suit the needs of the business.

Location

The role will be predominantly based at our hub at Altrincham and will also include managing our smaller pre-school gymnastics programme at Sale Leisure Centre.

The Next Steps

As this is a brand new development, the Gymnastics Programme Manager will be heavily involved with recruitment of the gymnastics instructors and to lead the launch of the gymnastics programme. We hope to appoint for this role, 2-3 months before opening in late 2024.
