Since November 15/16 the socio-economic gap has decreased by 7.1%. This change is due to a large increase in inactivity amongst lower social groups (+6.7%), NS-SEC 6-8, and a minor decrease in inactivity amongst higher social groups (-0.4%) NS-SEC 1-2.

The inactivity disability gap in Bolton is 25.6%

Since November 15/16 the disability gap has increased by 7.0%.  Inactivity has risen amongst both those with a long term limiting disability and those without. However the rate of increase has been greater amongst those with a long term limiting disability (+4.0%) than in those without a long term limiting disability (+1.9%).

Since November 15/16 the age gap has decreased by 19.1%. This is a result of a large increase in inactivity amongst 16 to 34 year olds (+14.4%) compared to a decrease in over 75's (-4.7%).
