East Manchester Swimming Teacher Recruitment Academy

Would you like to become a swimming teacher? The academy gives aspiring teachers the opportunity to receive part-funded training, mentoring, and be matched with an employer.

Apply now to start your journey to becoming a swimming teacher!

The academy gives trainee teachers the chance to embark on a career as a swimming teacher for only £79, compared to the usual cost of over £1,000. We support trainees through their training journey with membership and free access to our introduction to swimming strokes online CPDs. In between the courses, there is a period of volunteering with a potential employer to gain practical experience. Trainees also benefit from CPDs to help them develop as well as getting expert advice and support from a mentor to ensure they have the necessary experience for the role and are ready to hit the poolside well equipt to teach.

Teaching Swimming is an active and rewarding role. Work hours are generally part-time; 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm weekdays, and weekend mornings from 8:00 am – 2.00 pm. Once qualified successful trainees will be employed as swimming teachers by Wright Robinson College, Abbey Hey Lane, Manchester, M18 8RL.
