All Girls Campaign Co-Ordinator

It is an exciting time to join Basketball England as we continue to deliver our ambitious 6-year strategic plan ‘Growing Basketball Together’ with our basketball community and key partners. As the National Governing Body for basketball in England, we are responsible for helping everyone get the most from their basketball in addition to governing and developing the game from the grassroots to our national teams.

This season is going to be an amazing time for the women and girl’s game. We have our GB Women’s team competing in the 2020 Olympic Qualifying tournament, inspiring more people to get involved and supporting our new campaign ‘All Girls’. One of our key priorities is to inspire more women and girls to engage in basketball to play, compete, coach, officiate, volunteer or be a fan of the sport, irrespective of age or ability.

To help drive the campaign forward we now have an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about women and girl’s participation to join our team to facilitate the first phase of building engagement and activation across the nation. The successful candidate will also take the lead on guiding and supporting our network of All Girls Ambassadors, engaging closely with regions, clubs, education and various stakeholders who are supporting the campaign and working cross-departmentally to ensure the campaign is delivered successfully.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate who has the ability to get results through a network approach and our themed campaign promotions. Leading a project team and being well organised to support a growing network of volunteers and clubs and partners, you will require strong communication and project management skills and have empathy and understanding of our target audience with attention to detail.

For further details on the role, responsibilities, skills and experience required for the post please refer to the job description and person specification.
