Job Role: To work with key partners and leaders to ensure children 0-4 have the best active start in life by ensuring physical literacy is prioritised and a central feature of the start well and school readiness agenda in Greater Manchester. I also work to ensure we can support children aged 5-10 in Greater Manchester to have the opportunity to develop their life chances through sport, physical activity and competition.

Professional background: I graduated from university with a degree in sports development, after which I took up a role working for Premier Sport as a primary school sports coach, later progressing to be a lead coach. I then moved to the Oldham Sports Development team as an activity development worker delivering on a variety of physical activity based programmes for children and young people. Later taking on a spilt role to lead on quality assurance and assessment as well as becoming development officer for under 5's.
